Nayanthara has officially been onboarded for Megastar Chiranjeevi’s 157th movie. In an update on Saturday, the makers of the entertainer put out a video in which Nayanthara is heard conversing in Telugu with her crew. When a member of her team asks her if she is doing a Telugu movie, she blushes. While commuting in a four-wheeler, the actress asks her driver to raise the volume because it is a Megastar song. Towards the end of the video, Nayanthara paraphrases a Chiranjeevi punchline, duly joined by director Anil Ravipudi.

The project was confirmed earlier this year. In March, the behind-the-screens talents were revealed. Music director Bheems Ceciroleo and cinematographer Sameer Reddy are among the ones. Produced jointly by Sahu Garapati of Shine Screens and Sushmitha Konidela of Gold Box Entertainments, the film will be a Sankranthi 2026 release.
The untitled movie will be made as a thorough entertainer by the Sankranthiki Vasthunam director. “I have introduced Shankara Vara Prasad, the protagonist of my story. He (Chiranjeevi) loved and enjoyed it thoroughly,” the F2 and F3 director recently wrote on social media. Co-written by Sai Krishna and Narayana, the untitled film has production design by AS Prakash. Tammiraju is the Editor.
