The Trailer of Matka was digitally shared today by Megastar Chiranjeevi. The period action drama, starring Varun Tej in the lead, will hit the screens on November 14th.

Speaking at the Trailer launch event, Varun Tej said, “The 60s era has been recreated meticulously with the vision of giving the best experience to the audience. This is a film with mass moments. This November 14th is going to be special. See you all in theatres.”
Heroine Meenakshi Chaudhary said that Matka is set in a world of its own. “I thank Vyra Entertainments, SRT Entertainments and director Karuna Kumar for giving me this opportunity. Varun has killed it. Every frame in the Trailer is so amazing,” she added.
Director Karuna Kumar said that he doesn’t like hyping up before a movie’s release. “Mega fans have been wanting to watch Varun in a certain way. Matka brings out the actor as well as the hero in him. We have based the story on a true incident that happened four decades ago in Vizag,” he added.
