Varun Tej’s Matka is hitting the screens on a grand scale on November 14th. Shloka Entertainments, the overseas movie distributor, has bagged the release rights of the movie for the North American market. Matka’s overseas premieres will be held on the 13th.
The film’s pre-release event will be held in Vizag on November 10th. Gokul Park is the venue.

Meanwhile, the film’s folk song, titled Rama Talkies Ramp, has impressed the listeners. Shot on Saloni and others, it deserves repeat listenings. The Oora Naatu vibe of the song is infectious.
The film’s Trailer, released recently, showcased the sincere recreation of the 1960s. Based on the story of Ratan Khatri, the Matka King, the film is fictional. Vasu, played by Varun Tej, is like an alter-ego of Khatri in a different geographical setting – Vizag.
Heroine Meenakshi Chaudhary is playing a crucial role in this Vyra Entertainments, SRT Entertainments creation. Nora Fatehi, P Ravi Shankar, Naveen Chandra, Ajay Ghosh and Kishore will be seen in Matka. GV Prakash Kumar is the film’s music director.
