For those who adore the legendary animation classic The Lion King and superstar Mahesh Babu, we have some wonderful news. Following the enormously successful film The Lion King, the Hollywood production team created a plot that will serve as both a prequel and a sequel.
Superstar Mahesh Babu joins the cast to provide the Telugu voice of everyone’s favorite character, Mufasa, in an exciting development. Without a doubt, Mahesh Babu‘s portrayal of the character will energize the film much more.
Mahesh Babu expressed his happiness, as he join forces to lend his voice for Mufasa, saying, “I have always admired Disney’s blockbuster legacy of entertainment and timeless storytelling. The character appeals to me not only as a loving father guiding his son but as the supreme king of the jungle taking care of his clan.”
Barry Jenkins is the director of the film LION KING, which will have the voices of Tollywood’s famous comedians Ali and Brahmanandam as Timon and Pumbaa, respectively. Mufasa: The Lion King, which will be available in Telugu, will be released globally on December 20th.
On August 26th, the movie’s trailer will be unveiled.
