Superstar Mahesh Babu in the titular role, Telugu’s classic family drama Murari, helmed by popular director Krishna Vamsi, holds a special place in Telugu people’s hearts. In addition to focusing on rural family dynamics and feelings of unity, Murari (2001), also addresses an element of the supernatural.
Mahesh Babu‘s family classic Murari is getting ready for its opulent 4K pre-release on August 9, while his admirers throughout the world are getting ready to celebrate his birthday in unique ways.

The presenters recently unveiled the trailer for the Murari re-release. The re-release trailer for Murari not only evokes feelings of nostalgia among Mahesh’s admirers but also heightens the excitement of those in the younger generation who haven’t yet seen this supernatural family drama yet. He has a unique relationship with his grandmother, the only one who is aware of the mystery surrounding the untimely deaths in their family.
Murari’s re-release trailer begins by showcasing Murari’s eccentricities as a youngster from a rural family who is loved to bits. The trailer then takes a more naughty turn, with comical cat-rat fights between the main characters, Murari and Vasu (played by Mahesh and Sonali Bendre, respectively).
With some iconic scenes which focuses on the main context of Murari, the re-release trailer is so captivating, increase the anticipation surrounding the movie’s re-release, slated on Superstar Mahesh Babu’s birthday.
Director Krishna Vamsi, had earlier revealed that a fair portion of more than 18 minutes has been trimmed from the original, for Murari 4K’s re-release.
Murari, directed by Krishna Vamsi, was released in 2001, starring Mahesh Babu and Sonali Bendre in lead roles.
Actors Lakshmi, Sukumari, Kaikala Satyanarayana, Prakash Raj, Gollapudi Maruthi Rao, Sudha, and Ravi Babu appear in important roles alongside other noted actors.
The songs and background score were composed by ‘Melody Brahma’ Mani Sharma, while the whole album is still leading the music charts even after so many years of the movie’s release.
Murari was produced by N Devi Prasad, Ramalingeswara Rao, and Gopi Nandigam under the Ram Prasad Arts banner.
Note: The Mahesh Babu Foundation, which has provided charitable medical care for thousands of children with heart-related issues, will make use of the revenues from the re-release of the MURARI movie.
