Superstar Mahesh Babu is voicing for Mufasa in the Disney film Mufasa: The Lion King. The Telugu version of the film, to be released globally on December 20th, has a few other Tollywood artists associated with it on the dubbing side. Legendary comedian Brahmanandam has dubbed for Pumbaa, while Ali has voiced for Timon. Satyadev has dubbed for Taka.
Mahesh Babu has stated that he feels honoured to have dubbed for Mufasa. “I think every generation’s favorite character is Mufasa. I can’t wait for audiences to watch the film with their families. It’s really satisfying, and a dream come true,” the Guntur Kaaram hunk said.
Describing Mufasa as one of the most iconic characters ever, the Sarkaru Vaari Paata star added that he (Mufasa) is one of the characters that he has always looked up to. “The way he takes care of his family, I relate a lot to him. I can’t wait for people to watch me play him,” Mahesh added.
Barry Jenkins is the director of Mufasa, which will be available in the Telugu States in a notable way. The musical drama will be loved by the kids.
