Madhavan is one of the esteemed actors of the Indian film industry. Since his first movie in 1996 to the present day, the actor has played a range of characters whether it be as a protagonist, antagonist or a supporting role. His movies and the roles he essayed are forever remembered as some of the most iconic in the Indian cinema.
The actor’s latest venture titled Rocketry: The Nambi Effect, is a biographical movie based on the life of ISRO scientist Nambi Narayanan. Narayanan was one of the key people in the development of the Vikas Engine that was used in the first Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle (PSLV) our country launched. In Rocketry Madhavan is playing the role of Narayanan, who was wrongly accused of espionage and was subjected to jail time. Madhavan wanted to shed light on this unjust incident and depict the life of Narayanan on the big screen. The actor along with Nambi Narayanan, the inspiration behind the movie met up with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Madhavan took to Twitter to share the meeting experience with the Prime Minister. The actor revealed that he was touched by the Prime Minister’s reaction to the movie clips of Rocketry and the concern he showed for Narayanan. Check out his tweet below:

Madhvan is also making his directorial debut with Rocketry: The Nambi Effect. The movie also stars Simran in the lead role. Shah Rukh Khan and Suriya appear in cameos. The movie is written, produced and directed by Madhavan. Rocketry will hit the theatres this Summer and will be released in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, English, Malayalam and Kannada languages.
