Get ready for a rollercoaster of entertainment this Valentine’s Day, filled with love, laughter, and Laila! Laila has officially been certified with an A rating and boasts a runtime of 2 hours and 16 minutes.
The film is generating significant buzz, with early reports suggesting that Vishwak Sen delivers a career-defining performance as the titular character.
Laila, in which Vishwak will be seen in a dual role, will hit the screens on February 14th. Director Ram Narayan has wielded the megaphone.
“Our resolve is to leave the audience in splits, especially young audiences. It was initially mentally tough to be able to move freely among hundreds of people on set. Each time, it would take two hours to put on the make-up of a woman. The film is set in the Old City. The language is colloquial,” Vishwak recently said.
“Vishwak accepting this story itself will be a lifelong memory to me. He encourages new directors. Before approaching him, I had self-doubts. The entire cast and crew, including Akanksha Sharma, Kamakshi Bhaskarla, Prudhviraj, composer Leon James, art director Brahma Kadali garu and others, deserve my thanks,” the director recently said.
