Sharwanand and Krithi Shetty have joined forces for the most-anticipated family entertainer ‘Manamey’. The intriguing advertising material that the filmmakers of Sriram Adittya’s film have been strategically revealing is creating a stir ahead of its big June 7 premiere. The makers also unveiled the movie’s theatrical trailer earlier today.
In Manamey, which stars Sharwanand as her hero, actress Krithi Shetty, who has already captivated audiences with her roles in the films Uppena, Shyam Singha Roy, Aa Ammayi Gurinchi Meeku Cheppali, and others, will play “Subhadra.”
In addition to going into great detail about her role in Manamey, Krithi Shetty spoke with the media about additional topics on the movie. Krithi asserted that her Manamey character, Subhadra, is peculiar and unrelated to any of the characters she has played before.
“Subhadra is the complete opposite of me. While Subhadra might become enraged quickly, I don’t get upset or even agitated very easily,” Krithi clarified.
Krithi explained the significance behind the title “Manamey,” saying, “The film captures an exquisite bonding of a child and a parent’s emotion. The main protagonists in this film are Sharwa, me, and the child. We titled it Manamey for that reason. It’s a universally engaging family entertainment that’s ideal.
Spilling more beans on her role as Subhadra in Manamey, Krithi said, “I play an assertive woman. She is authoritative when she has to be. I enjoyed playing Subhadra”.
The ‘Uppena’ actress appears quite optimistic about Manamey’s success.
Directed by Sriram Adittya, Manamey also features Rahul Ramakrishna, Vennela Kishore, Seerat Kapoor, Ayesha Khan, Rahul Ravindran, and Sudharshan in pivotal roles. Manamey is produced by TG Vishwa Prasad of People Media Factory, with Vivek Kuchibhotla as the co-producer. Hesham Abdul Wahab has provided the music for Manamey.
