Releasing the first song from Kingdom, the makers had an interesting set of phrases to use: “Two hidden identities. One forbidden connection. One song to set the nation on fire.” So, whatever does it mean? Director Gowtam Tinnanuri could be suggesting that music plays a central and transformative role in the love story involving the characters played by Vijay Deverakonda and Bhagyashri Borse. The song’s lyrics, written by Krishna Kanth, become a symbol of a call to action.

“A little softness, A little love, This is all their world allowed,” the male lead mentioned. Vijay and Bhagyashri, at the start of the song, have a tense conversation. The hero, known for his gutsy nature in the story, has apparently committed a bloodletting crime with good intentions.
The track is sung by music director Anirudh Ravichander himself. He is joined by the female playback singer, Anumita Nadesan.
Now that a romantic song has been released, a dramatic song revolving around the hero’s character might be in the offing.
The film, directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri, will hit the screens on May 30th.
