“In the land of promises and power, a prophecy unfolds,” says the Release Trailer of Kanguva, released on Sunday evening. Studio Green and UV Creations have put out the Trailer days ahead of the film’s release on November 14th.
The reincarnation theme in the film was always part of the narrative. However, we now understand that director ‘Siruthai’ Siva has crafted his story using a screenplay technique that draws on echoes and parallels between the lives of Kanguva and the present-day character played by Suriya, who is based in Goa. “Prepare for the ultimate faceoff between the past and the present. Written in ink and blood, the past and present shall collide,” the makers wrote.

Themes such as ‘betrayal’ and ‘honour’ can be expected from this mega-scale event film that co-stars Bobby Deol. Disha Patani will also be seen.
The scale of the movie is so ambitious that Suriya has boldly referenced epic productions like Braveheart, The Lord of the Rings, Game of Thrones, and Apocalypto in an interview to promote Kanguva.
Kanguva is an epic fantasy action film whose action sequences are choreographed by Supreme Sundar. Devi Sri Prasad has composed the music. Vetri Palanisamy is the cinematographer, while Milan is the production designer.
