The pan-Indian actor Prabhas, who most recently starred in “Salaar Part 1: Ceasefire,” is getting ready for his upcoming big-screen project, “Kalki 2898 AD,” directed by Nag Ashwin.
The film, which releases on June 27, is being strategically promoted by the Kalki 2898 AD crew. The film’s intriguing teasers, which include the introduction of Bujji and Bhairava, have already launched the film’s advertising campaign, but the team is still trying to bring in more publicity.
The uber-swanky, custom-built Bujji automobile from Kalki 2898 AD has become well-known and has found its way onto Chennai’s streets. Observers were amazed by the beast’s size and style as it glided through the streets earlier in Chennai. The film’s director, Nag Ashwin, uploaded a video in which he invited Elon Musk, the CEO of Space X and Tesla, to take a test drive and explore Bujji.
‘Dear @elonmusk sir… We would love to invite you to see and drive our #Bujji… it’s a 6-ton beast, fully #madeinindia Fully Electric & an engineering feat.. And I daresay it’ll make for a great photo-op with ur cybertruck 😬 (would be a sight to see them drive together)’, wrote Nag Aswhin in his tweet.
Although the CEO of Tesla hasn’t yet replied, Nag Ashwin’s tweet has undoubtedly piqued the interest of tech fans.
Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone plays the female lead opposite Prabhas, while Rajendra Prasad, Pasupathy, Disha Patani appear in pivotal roles.
Indian superstars Amitabh Bachchan and Kamal Haasan are roped in to play crucial parts in Kalki 2898 AD too.
Being produced by Vyjayanthi Movies, Kalki 2898 AD features music by Santhosh Narayanan and will have a huge international premiere on June 27, 2024.
