Kajal Aggarwal is one of Tollywood’s famous actresses who has acted with many popular stars over the years. Kajal Aggarwal’s latest project will be the upcoming Megastar Chiranjeevi starrer Acharya, which is being directed by Siva Koratala. As Kajal is done with the wedding rituals and is back to India from the Maldives with her husband Gautam, she is all set to join the Acharya sets soon.
According to the latest reports, Kajal Aggarwal is all set to join the Acharya sets in December. However, there is no official note regarding this yet from neither the makers nor Kajal. The actress will kick off the post COVID phase and join the shooting sets from December 5th after 8 months long Coronavirus break.
As Chiranjeevi was declared COVID-19 positive and Kajal was busy with the wedding, the team of Acharya resumed shoot from November 10th without lead actors. Now as Chiranjeevi’s COVID-19 was declared false due to default in the kit, he will also be joining the sets soon along with Kajal Aggarwal.

The film is directed by Koratala Siva and is bankrolled jointly by Ram Charan’s Konidela Production Company and Matinee Entertainment. While Mani Sharma has been roped in to compose the music, Regina Cassandra will sizzle the dance with Chiranjeevi on a special number. The shooting of Acharya came to a halt in March due to the COVID-19 pandemic and the subsequent lockdown, which was also forced to postpone the release. Acharya was supposed to release on August 14, 2020, but has been pushed for Sankranthi. Now, the makers have announced to release the film for Sankranthi 2021.
