Kaikala Satyanarayana passed away this morning at the age of 87 at his residence in Jubilee Hills. As per the update from his family members, the actor took his last breath in the early hours of today after suffering from a brief illness last night. The last rites of the legendary actor will be performed at Mahaprasthanam in Jubilee Hills on Saturday.

Kaikala Satyanarayana acted in more than 750 films over a period of six decades. He also served the people of Andhra Pradesh as a member of parliament from the Telugu Desam Party, following in the footsteps of NTR.
