Devara is all set to grace your OTT screens. The period action drama will be available on Netflix from November 8th.
“A mighty sea warrior takes a violent stand against the criminal deeds of his village. Years later, his mild-mannered son walks a path of his own,” Netflix’s synopsis of the movie’s plot says.
Directed by Koratala Siva, the film stars Saif Ali Khan in a negative role.
Last month, after Devara became a clear box office winner, Jr NTR expressed his gratefulness, thanking the audience for the “overwhelming response” and the “outpouring of love from around the world”. In a statement, Tarak thanked his fellow co-stars, especially Saif, Janhvi Kapoor, Prakash Raj and Srikanth. The versatile acting talent opined that they breathed “life into their characters so ably”, giving Koratala Siva’s story the wings it needed.
Anirudh Ravichander’s music and Rathnavelu’s cinematography, combined with Sabu Cyril’s production design, Yugandhar’s VFX supervision and A Sreekar Prasad’s editing, received critical acclaim. Produced by Sudhakar Mikkilineni and Harikrishna Kosaraju, Devara was produced by Yuvasudha Arts and NTR Arts.
