N.T. Rama Rao was born in Nimmakuru, a small village in Gudivada of Krishna District, Andhra Pradesh on 28th May 1923. He appeared on the big screen for the first time in Mana Desam(1949) as a police officer and the rest is history. N. T. Rama Rao last appeared in Srinatha Kavi Sarvabhowmudu(1993.) With a strong desire to bring a change in the society and improve the living of the common man, N. T. Rama Rao stepped into politics and served as the Chief Minister of united Andhra Pradesh for three terms.
