Amazon Prime Video is soon going to stream the Japanese dubbed version of Rangasthalam, one of the most popular movies of the Ram Charan-Sukumar duo. The 2018 release was a box-office blockbuster. Viewers have showed immense love on the film on the streaming platform.
The OTT platform felt that a Japanese dubbed version would be apt, considering that select Telugu movies are increasingly earning the accolades of audiences in Japan.
Rangasthalam, produced by Mythri Movie Makers, co-stars Samantha Ruth Prabhu as the female lead. Aadhi Pinisetty, Jagapathi Babu and Prakash Raj played the prominent roles. Devi Sri Prasad composed the music, with almost all songs becoming chartbuster hits. The film’s story being set in the political backdrop in the Grama Panchayats of the 1980s is a great viewing experience to the audience.
Ram Charan‘s next is Peddi, directed by Buchi Babu Sana. The period film, starring Janhvi Kapoor as the female lead, has AR Rahman composing the music. Jagapathi Babu and Divyendu Sharma have also been roped in for major roles. Peddi is scheduled to hit the screens on March 27th, 2026.
