New Year always is special for various reasons. Some may embark on new projects and some take new resolutions. For cinegoers, it brings great joy if a lot of films, especially big budget movies, are released during the first month of the year.
January 2020 is going to be one such month in Tollywood—not only because of the Sankranthi season, but also due to the amount of interesting films with unique titles releasing during this time.
Tamil star Dhanush and Kannada actor Rakshit Shetty will first come up with Thoota and Athade Srimannarayana respectively on January 1st.
Then would come Darbar, the biggest dubbed movie scheduled to release in January 2020. The A.R. Murugadoss directorial, which stars Superstar Rajinikanth and Nayanthara, is one of the most eagerly awaited movies in the South and is slated to release on January 9th.
Superstar Mahesh Babu will then come with his Sarileru Neekevvaru on January 11th, followed by Stylish Star Allu Arjun, who will arrive with Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo on January 12th.
Nandamuri Kalyanram will also come up with a family drama, Entha Manchivaadavuraa, on January 15th, 2020.
Similarly, the Anushka Shetty-Madhavan starrer Nishabdham will be released on January 31st. The movie by the People Media Factory will be released in multiple languages, including Hindi.
All in all, 14 films are going to see the light of day during January 2020.
January 2020 will indeed be a gala time for theatre mongers.
