The glimpse clocked more than 32.4 million cumulative digital views in 24 hours. It is the highest-viewed glimpse in Kollywood in a 24-hour timeframe.

Anl Arasu’s action choreography will a soaring feature. H Vinoth (Nerkonda Paarvai, Valimai, Thunivu) is wielding the megaphone.
Vijay has played many versatile roles in his career. In Jana Nayagan, he will be seen as a cop with an unmistakable panache. Pooja Hegde plays Vijay’s pairing, while Bobby Deol is the main antagonist. The Daaku Maharaaj antagonist is also going to be seen in Pawan Kalyan’s Hari Hara Veera Mallu.
Mamitha Baiju of Premalu fame has a prominent role. As she turned a year older yesterday, the makers of the film wished via their social media handles. “This one’s for the young sensation who’s all set to take over the screens with her grace & charm,” they wrote.
Jana Nayagan also features Gautham Vasudev Menon, Prakash Raj, Priyamani, and Narain. Produced by Venkat K Narayana, the film will hit the screens on 9 January 2026.
