“Even in the darkest age, his loyalty shines unbroken ~ A silent vow held for his prabhu, Shri Ram,” the makers of Jai Hanuman wrote on social media, unveiling the Theme Song of their pan-Indian movie. The song was released a day after the movie’s First Look made its appearance online, confirming that Kantara actor Rishab Shetty would be playing Lord Hanuman in the Prasanth Varma Cinematic Universe (PVCU) spectacle.
The song, written by Kalyan Chakravarthy and rendered by Revanth, highlights the element of a vow made in Tretayuga. “In the depths of the Kaliyuga, he endures Agnathavas. Bound by the promise he made to his Ram,” the lines in the video say.

Mythri Movie Makers has joined hands with director Prasanth Varma for the colossal project led by Rishab Shetty. Jai Hanuman is described as a grand vision by the filmmaker, who wants to expand his PVCU in newer directions. “This Diwali, bringing the legends to life with a tale that rekindles the flames of valor and honors our Indian Itihasas (sic),” producers Naveen Yerneni and Y Ravi Shankar earlier wrote on social media.
In a recent interview, Rishab Shetty said that he is a devotee of Hanuman and therefore feels “blessed” to be doing Jai Hanuman.
