Indian 2, the sequel to the blockbuster vigilante action thriller movie, Indian from the most successful duo Shankar and Kamal Haasan is on the cards as known to us all. The film’s production was started long back and was later halted due to COVID and other reasons. Meanwhile, Shankar shifted to RC15 with Ram Charan and Kamal Haasan shifted to Vikram with Lokesh Kanagaraj. Now the duo joined their hands back to complete Indian 2. Yes, the update is true and official. The director of Indian 2, Shankar himself made this announcement on his Twitter handle officially.
Indian 2 is being made on a grand scale with a huge cast. The film’s production is restarted from today. Kajal Agarwal, Bobby Simha and Siddharth are going to shoot some major scenes this month. Kamal Haasan will be joining the sets of Indian 2 as soon as he returns from the United States. The makers of Indian 2 made this announcement regarding the restart of the production officially today morning by releasing a poster showing the lines “He is back”.

Indian 2 is being produced by Red Giant Movies in association with Lyca Productions. Rakul Preet Singh, Priya Bhavani Shankar, and Samuthirakani are also playing important roles in the film. They all will join the production of Indian 2 along with Kamal Haasan from September. Anirudh Ravichander is composing the music for the film. Indian 2 is likely to be released in 2023, as per the sources in Kollywood, but the official release date is not yet announced by the makers.
