Kamal Haasan’s highly anticipated film, Indian 2, has been confronting plenty of obstacles since it’s beginning. Lethal mishap on the sets, creation issues and lockdown have just placed the whole cast and team in a difficult situation, with no extension for the shoot to continue at any point in the near future.
Presently, there are theories on the web that the creators of the film, Lyca Productions and director of the film, have chosen to drop the venture as they have acquired an immense misfortune. The appalling crane mishap that happened on February 19 at EVP Film City, Chennai, which killed 3 technicians and injured 19 people on the set. Clearly, this caused a rift between Kamal Haasan and the makers of the film, in the long run driving them to slow down the venture.
However, when IndiaToday.in contacted Lyca Productions, the spokesperson of the production house, clarified that the project has not been dropped. He said, “These are baseless rumours. We have completed almost 60 per cent of the film’s shoot. How will we consider dropping the project? We are planning to resume the shoot post lockdown.”
