Leading producer Dil Raju, accompanied by passionate producer Harshith Reddy (his nephew), have met with a high-level delegation from the Australian Consulate General in Hyderabad to discuss boosting India-Australia ties. Discussions focused on practical collaborations like film co-productions and talent/cultural exchanges, spurred by the delegation’s keen interest in Hyderabad and Telugu cinema. The Sankranthiki Vasthunam producer did so in his capacity as the Chairman of the TFDC.
Producers Dil Raju and Harshith Reddy are spearheading efforts to expand Telugu cinema’s global reach. A successful meeting with Australian representatives, including Deputy Consul General Steven Connolly, Vice Consul Harriet White, and Ms. Steffi Cherian, signifies promising opportunities for Telugu films in the Australian market and strengthens creative industry ties.
On the work front, Dil Raju recently collaborated with Marco director Haneef Adeni for a multi-starrer. This will be a pan-Indian movie. A film titled Yellamma will be made with Nithiin as the hero. Director Venu Yeldandi of Balagam fame will be helming it. Dil Raju is also making Rowdy Janardhana with Vijay Deverakonda. Director Venu Sriram and producers Dil Raju-Shirish duo are also bankrolling Thammudu with Nithiin. Sri Venkateswara Creations recently released Mohanlal’s L2: Empuraan and Court: State Vs. A Nobody.
