Icon Star Allu Arjun has shared his profound sadness over the recent landslide tragedy in Wayanad, Kerala, on his social media. The ‘Pushpa’ actor has said that he will donate ₹25 lakh to the Kerala Chief Minister’s Relief Fund as a show of support. He intends to support the ongoing rehabilitation work in Kerala’s Wayanad district, where hundreds of people have perished as a result of the natural calamity.
Expressing solidarity with the people of Kerala, the pan-Indian hero stated, “I am deeply saddened by the recent landslide in Wayanad. Kerala has always given me so much love, and I want to do my bit by contribution ₹25 lakh to the Kerala CM Relief Fund to support the rehabilitation work. Praying for your safety and strength.”
Due to his unique bond with the Malayalam audience and the adoration of thousands of his followers in Kerala, Allu Arjun is even more touched by the recent calamity in his home state. In addition to being adored by Malayalam filmgoers, Allu Arjun is also referred to as “Mallu Arjun”.
Allu Arjun will be seen in his most-anticipated movie ‘Pushpa 2- THE RULE‘, in which he comes face off with Malayalam actor Fahadh Fassil, while Rashmika Mandanna plays his wife in the Sukumar’s directorial.
Pushpa 2- The Rule is slated for its grand release on December 6, 2024.
