Tomorrow, Megastar Chiranjeevi’s iconic blockbuster hit, INDRA, will be re-released in theaters to celebrate his huge birthday festivities. The big re-release of Indra, which stars Chiranjeevi as Indra Sena Reddy, is approaching, and the presenters are actively promoting it. Actress Sonali Bendre, who portrayed a key role named Pallavi in the film, has revealed some interesting tidbits regarding Indra.
Sonali Bendre, who gave a video byte, said, “Even now, all of the memories I have of Indra are still very vivid. However, the most vivid memory I have is of being extremely anxious about how I would be able to dance next to the well-known dancer Chiranjeevi Garu.”
“The night before we shot Daayi Daayi Damma, I couldn’t sleep. When I went on the sets, I asked- What? Now am I going to do this veena step? They said I need not, so I was relaxed”.
Re-releasing Indra is like to commemorating Chiranjeevi Garu. It’s likely that fans have seen Indra on TV or a phone thus far. I sincerely hope that everyone will take advantage of this opportunity to enjoy the theatrical experience of seeing Indra on the big screens.
Indra is a 2002 film, directed by B Gopal, while the story was penned by Chinni Krihsna and the screenplay by Paruchuri Brothers. Siva Akula penned the dialogues for the movie, which still rings in any Telugu movie buff’s ears.
Indra has an ensemble of cast including Arti Agarwal, Shivaji, Mukesh Rishi, Prakash Raj, Tanikella Bharani, Ahuti Prasad, Suni, Brahmanandam, Allu Ramalingaih, Dharmavarapu Subramanyam, MS Narayana, and more. Manisharma had composed the music for Indra, which has 6 chartbuster songs, which are still some of the favorites for Telugu audience.
