There is a new cinematic universe in Indian cinema history. Mahavatar Cinematic Universe is what they are calling it. Hombale Films of KGF and Salaar fame is going to bankroll a series of movies in the next 12 years. It will begin with a film on Narasimha Swamy and end with a Kalki duology.

Mahavatar Narsimha, the maiden movie in the MCU, will hit the screens on July 25th this year in 3D and five Indian languages.
In the coming years, a series of movies are anticipated, beginning with Mahavatar Parshuram in 2027. This will be followed by Mahavatar Raghunandan in 2029, and then Mahavatar Dwarkadhish in 2031. Two years later, Mahavatar Gokulananda is expected in 2033. The culmination of these events will see Mahavatar Kalki manifesting in two parts: Part 1 in 2035 and Part 2 in 2037.
