Prabhas and Pooja Hegde starrer Radhe Shyam has created a lot of buzz before the release of the film. Also, the film got positive talk from the US premiers and benefit shows in the Telugu states. Radhe Shyam is truly a pure classic romantic drama exposing the clash between love and destiny as shown in the trailers and other promos. Let us look into the highlights of Radhe Shyam that won the hearts of the audience.
Highlights Of Radhe Shyam:
Opening Image:
The film opens with the lead actor Prabhas (Vikramaditya) stuck in the ocean striving to survive the Tsunami. This sets the stage for the audience that they are going to watch the film which showcases the clash between the lead character’s conflict with his fate.
Philosophy Of Paramahamsa:
Krishnam Raju played the role of Pramahamsa, the guru of Vikramaditya in palmistry. His philosophy of belief that any science is just 100 percent true and the rest 1 percent does wonders against their fate is the central idea of the film. This philosophy runs the entire story and also ends on the same line. Krishnam Raju perfectly fits the role of a guru.
Introduction Of Vikramaditya:
The movie being a romantic drama, the hero needs some special introduction without any action sequences. And what can be a better way than Vikramaditya’s guru introducing his student to the world and the audience as Einstein of Palmistry. Also, the hero predicting the future of the Indian Prime Minister shows the range of the lead character.
Visuals Of The Song Sanchari:
The song Sanchari was beautifully shot. It also helps to set up the lead character and his world. Prabhas looks so handsome in the song.
Train Episode Cinematography:
Manoj Paramahamsa, the lensman did magic in the film with his visuals. To be particular, the train episode where Vikramaditya and Prerana (Pooja Hegde) meet for the first time is really a visual treat in a romantic way.
Placement Of The Songs:
All the songs in the film are perfectly placed. They come and go along with the flow of the story. Justin Prabhakaran composed some great melodies for the film.
Soulful Background Score:
As the director and the team said that Thaman saw the film entirely on a different scale and then uplifted the film, Thaman truly did the same. We can feel his soulful tracks in every scene which elevated the elegance of the film.
Conflict And Interval:
The director Radha Krishna did write an extraordinary conflict towards the interval block. Vikramaditya challenging science to prove his wisdom and strength in palmistry is a pure writing brilliance to establish the conflict.
Vikramaditya’s Strength In Palmistry:
There are a few scenes in the film which shows the strength of the lead character. Vikramaditya predicts an emergency in India and that happens. He also predicts the future of India’s richest man, the role played by Jagapathi Babu and that too turns out to be true. The same happens in predicting a train accident where Vikramaditya tries to stop that but later recognises that he cannot change the fate. All these incidents show that Vikramaditya is the epitome of palmistry in the world.
Twists And Turns:
An interesting conversation between Paramahamsa and Vikramaditya in the second half reveals a major twist and truth in the film which turns the entire course of the story. The film turns out to be a thriller thereafter.
Pre-Climax And Climax:
The emotional ride of Radhe Shyam starts in the pre-climax portion of the film where the central theme, the clash between love and destiny decides the ending. The pre-climax lays the path for a great ending and the climax stands out to be the major attraction of the film. Every technician who worked for the climax needs to be applauded for their creative efforts to give the best output which keeps the film at international standards.
Ending:
Radhe Shyam ends on a beautiful note with the voice of SS Rajamouli saying, “Our fate lies in our works and not palm”.
