Story:
Mouni (Aditi Rao Hydari) is a weather scientist. She falls in love with Yaazhan (Dulquer Salmaan) who is a software engineer. Later they get married. A couple of years into their married life, Malarvizhi (Kajal Aggarwal) becomes a friend to Yaazhan. How the relationship of Yaazhan and Mouni gets affected with the arrival of Malarvizhi is the plot of the story.
On Screen Performances:
Dulquer Salmaan’s performance is the major asset of the film. His sparkling chemistry with the two lead actresses is so great to watch on screen. The actor made a perfect balance between the energetic presence in the first half and the emotional performance in the second half. Both Aditi Rao Hydari and Kajal Aggarwal gave clean performances. They expose the true love of the characters which got reflected on screen.
Off Screen Highlights:
The writing of the film is very good. It allows the characters to emote freely in every possible way and also, it provided few comedies as well. Balancing the emotions of the characters, the complications of love between them and a few laughs, the film is a perfect set up of a romantic entertainer. Credit goes to Madhan Karky. The director Brinda has a terrific debut with this film. The making looks flawless and it is good. The cinematography and the background score are impressive. The song Siragai that comes in the second half is the major highlight of the film. The song is greatly composed and choreographed with all the departments of art, costumes and camera being perfectly executed.
