Sree Vishnu, in a recent chit-chat with TFN, revealed that he has declined to do remakes in the past. The actor refused to act in those remakes even though he personally liked the original versions.
“I am not inclined to act in remakes. Without our knowledge, we get influenced by them. The very idea behind doing a remake is that we go by the commercial success of the original. Influence is inevitable in such a scenario,” Sree Vishnu said, suggesting that he has a policy of not doing remakes.
Sree Vishnu was most recently seen in Single, a box-office hit. It was co-produced by Geetha Arts, which roped him in for two more projects. “Seeing the complete raw footage of Single, I was so taken by Sree Vishnu’s performance that I signed him for two more projects right away. His down-to-earth nature also struck me, and I was happy to give him a significant advance,” Allu Aravind recently revealed.
In his career spanning several years, Sree Vishnu has taken on scripts others had rejected. Single, for example, was declined by 10-15 actors. Brochevarevarura and Samajavaragamana are among his popular movies.
