Chiranjeevi, the megastar of Tollywood, is set to rule the Telugu box office once again for Sankranti 2023. Chiru is going to release his 154th film, Waltair Veerayya, for Sankranti 2023 on January 13 in competition with Balakrishna’s Veera Simha Reddy. Chiranjeevi is very confident in the success of Waltair Veerayya because of its commercial content. Also, Chiranjeevi has put in some additional efforts for the film. Waltair Veerayya is going to be the complete comeback of Chiranjeevi in the mass zone. The makers of Waltair Veerayya conducted a press meet yesterday in Hyderabad. Chiranjeevi shared a few interesting things and emotional moments from the production of Waltair Veerayya.
We are all aware that Waltair Veerayya‘s second single, Sridevi Chiranjeevi, was shot in South France at very low temperatures (-8 °C). It would be generally very difficult for a 67-year-old man to shoot at such low temperatures. But Chiranjeevi did not miss out on his style and grace in his dance moves, even in those temperatures. Also, Chiranjeevi worked so hard to shoot an action sequence in a heavy rain setting, as said by the director Ravindra Bobby. The director also revealed that Chiranjeevi worked relentlessly with ease despite the shivering showers. When asked by a journalist at the press meet yesterday about these efforts from the megastar, Chiranjeevi replied that he is always committed to the film and that to justify the character or scene, he would put in his extreme efforts despite any problems. He also said that he would retire from acting on the day he felt that he could not justify the role anymore. He also suggested his co-actors do the same. “If you can’t justify your role or the film, get lost from the industry and go home,” Chiranjeevi advised.
Waltair Veerayya is going to be released on January 13, 2023. The trailer launch and pre-release event might take place in Vizag in the first week of January, as per the sources. It will be very exciting to see both Chiranjeevi and Balakrishna competing at the box office for Sankranti once again.
