Producer KE Gnanavel Raja today expressed his happiness over the audience response to ‘Kanguva’. The Suriya-Bobby Deol epic fantasy action movie hit the screens on November 14th.
“Nobody is trolling the content in ‘Kanguva’. The online trolling you see are from those who engage in fan wars and political bashing. The general audience are very much liking ‘Kanguva’. Yesterday, I visited a few screens. The audience there were enjoying the movie,” the producer said in his latest interview.
“Some people have told me the 3D version is phenomenal. Kids are enjoying the visuals in 3D,” he added. “I must say that content has not generated any negativity. The Goa portions, that are about 20 minutes long, have been found to be a little slow-paced. But the period portions have been liked by the audience.”
“It was a Thursday non-holiday release. If you discount thee crucial factor, the opening-day collections were phenomenal. ‘Kanguva‘ is going to surpass the revenue made by Suriya‘s biggest hit so far, within three days. The weekend numbers are going to be highly promising. We will consolidate,” Gnanavel Raja said.
The film is directed by Siva and has music by Devi Sri Prasad.
