“You are a Minister just for five years. I am an IAS officer for a lifetime,” declares Ram Charan’s Ram Nandan in Shankar’s most-awaited political action entertainer. Yes, the Trailer of Game Changer, one of the most-awaited movies of 2025, is finally out.
Director Shankar has ticked all the right boxes. The film comes across as one of the most entertainment-oriented, commercial films in the career of Ram Charan. The political plot appears to have been powered by an engaging screenplay.
The hero’s multiple looks are a treat. The cop avatar is excellent. As a daredevil IAS officer from a do-gooder’s family, the RRR actor raises the bar.
The film’s core argument is that it won’t make a difference for looters if they shared a small piece of the monumental pie they have amassed. The political establishment, led by the characters played by SJ Suryah and Srikanth, have a violent face-off with the heroic IAS officer.
Speaking on the occasion of the Trailer launch today, director Shankar said that the interval, the flashback and the climax are going to stand out. The filmmaker added, “This Sankranthi is going to be a ‘Ram’ Navami. Ram Charan has effectively embodied the characters he has played. The character (of Appanna) in which he is seen in pancha kattu is the heart of the movie. You will only see the character, not the star. Kiara Advani’s performance is realistic. Anjali’s performance is soulful. There is a surprising character about which you will come to know on the release day.”
With music by Thaman, Game Changer will hit the screens on January 10th.
