‘Naa Naa Hyraanaa’, the third song from ‘Game Changer’, will drop on November 28th. Shot on a lavish scale in New Zealand, it was filmed on Ram Charan and Kiara Advani.
Talking about the duet, director Shankar spoke of its technological breakthrough and how it tries to push the boundaries. “To those in love, everything is colourful. I captured this essence by shooting the song with an Infrared camera. The colours look magical with Infrared photography. The cinematographer (Thirru) was excited. He took care of the skin tones of the lead pair and other aspects. At the end, the product looked so dreamy. It’s an experimental song,” Shankar says in a chit-chat with composer SS Thaman.
Music wise, the song has a Carnatic touch. The song is a fusion of Western and Carnatic musical styles. Be it in terms of dance choreography, the props, the cinematography or the costumes, everything about the song is special.
SS Thaman resorted to a new style of programming, using a reverse toning technique. “Being a Michael Jackson fan helped,” Thaman adds. Ramajogayya Sastry nailed it with his lyrics.
Game Changer, produced by Dil Raju, will hit the screens on January 10th, 2025.
