Films with a highly engaging second half invariably become blockbusters. Game Changer is going to be one such film. Since its storyline has been written by a new-age filmmaker like Karthik Subbaraj of Jigarthanda and Peta fame, the second part of the story must be meaty. And in the hands of an auteur like director Shankar, such a meaty one would naturally achieve uniqueness. Global Star Ram Charan’s heroism will take care of the rest.
The film’s first half is expected to offer a solid narrative foundation, while the second half delivers a high-octane, audience-engaging performance by Ram Charan. It will be interesting to see how Shankar and his writing team have developed this political action drama originally conceived as a one-liner story.
The pre-release event of the big-ticket political action entertainer will be held in the US. The date is December 21st. The event will be held at Curtis Culwell Center, 4999 Naaman Forest Garland TX 75040.
Game Changer, also starring SJ Suryah, Anjali, Srikanth and Naveen Chandra, will hit the screens on January 10th, 2025. Sri Venkateswara Creations’ Dil Raju has bankrolled this one. Thaman is its music director.
