Anand Deverakonda has been entertaining the Telugu audience with movies like Dorasaani, Middle-Class Melodies, and Pushpaka Vimanam, which was last seen in the blockbuster movie Baby. The movie ‘Gam Gam Ganesha’ has hit the screens today, amidst huge expectations.
Helmed by Uday Bommisetty, Gam Gam Ganesha is produced by Kedar Selagamsetty, Vamsi Karumanchi under the banner of HyLife Entertainment. Chaitan Bharadwaj has scored the music for this quirky drama. Pragati Srivastava is the female lead, opposite Anand Deverakonda.
Aditya Javvadi handled the cinematography, while the editing was done by Karthika Srinivas R. Gam Gam Ganesha also stars Nayan Sarika, Emmanuel, Vennela Kishore, Satyam Rajesh, and others in the lead roles,
Gam Gam Ganesha Story Line:
After his sweetheart leaves him, Ganesh (Anand Deverakonda), a small-time robber, wants to become a billionaire. Ganesh decides to steal a costly and rare diamond from a Hyderabad jewelry store after becoming connected with a biggie on the black market.
Something goes wrong, and Ganesh is left without any diamonds in his account. What unfolds after this, is the rest of the drama.
On-screen performances:
Ganesh, played by Anand Deverakonda, has a peculiar persona as a part-time burglar. His role justification is good. Pragathi Srivastava, the heroine, is lovely and excels in her small part. Anand Deverakonda and Pragathi have a pleasant chemistry.
Kishore Vennela was excellent, and comedian Emmanuel had a long and fascinating part. In his role as the antagonist, Raj Arjun performed admirably, as did Satyam Rajesh and other actors.
Technical Aspects:
Uday Bommisetty has written and implemented Gam Gam Ganesha, a tried-and-true crime comedy scenario. The screenplay is crisp, and the narration entertains thoroughly. Gam Gam Ganesha highlights the three concepts of fear, greed, and conspiracy.
Production values are good with nice camera work and crispy editing.
End-note: An oddball story that’s entertaining. Anand Deverakonda and others have done a good job in their roles. Gam Gam Ganesha is a worthy weekend viewing.
