We are just hours away from watching Daaku Maharaaj. The movie is being released in theatres amid high expectations. Let’s find out what exactly ticks for the movie.
1. Balakrishna‘s heroism: He is inimitable to the core. After Akhanda, Veera Simha Reddy and Bhagavanth Kesari, he is in perfect form. His punchlines in Daaku Maharaaj, the character of Daaku, and the mythical heroism are expected to be extraordinary.
2. Grounded heroism: Bobby Kolli has etched the heroism in a grounded manner. You will find less loudness in the film. Action films that are subtle and deliberately measured can be a treat to watch.
3. Extraordinary action blocks: V Venkat’s action choreography is expected to be a major draw. The makers have repeatedly talked about how the interval block and action sequences involving Daaku are going to be whistle-worthy. There is also a goosebumps-worthy, Samara Simha Reddy-level scene in the second half.
4. Music and cinematography: Thaman’s background score is gona be rousing. Bobby Kolli has hinted that a new soundscape is being introduced by the film. The cinematography by Vijay Karthik Kannan of Jailer fame will be another major asset. Avinash Kolla’s production design is also to be watched out for.
5. Glamour factor: The film is high on glamour as well. Urvasi Rautela’s presence goes beyond the song Dabidi Dibidi. Pragya Jaiswal and Shraddha Srinath may not exactly be in glamorous roles but their presence will be appreciated.
