First Rank Raju, the official Telugu remake of the Kannada film by the same name, will release on June 21st, 2019.
Chetan Maddieni plays the lead, a role Gurunandan played in the original as a bookish student, who does not know the reality and true nature of education.
Naresh Kumar H.N. penned the script and directed First Rank Raju, while V.K. Manjunath is bankrolling the project, under the banner of Dolphin Entertainment.
Kiran Ravindranath composed music for this remake.
First Rank Raju has an interesting supporting cast which includes Prakash Raj, Priyadarshi, Brahmanandam and Rao Ramesh.
The teaser of First Rank Raju was out in March 2019 and it received enormous appreciation.
