Indian film industry is undergoing a makeover since the Coronavirus pandemic, especially with both makers and audience finally realising the charm of OTT platforms. Even big filmmakers and actors are showing good interest in OTT projects. One such OTT venture with an ensemble cast and crew is the web series Navarasa.
Navarasa is a Tamil anthology web series which is set to premiere on the OTT platform Netflix. As the title suggests, the series is about various emotions or the rasas and boasts a talented cast of Suriya, Vijay Sethupathi, Siddharth, Parvathy, Revathi, Arvind Swami and more. This series created by Maniratnam, is directed by some of the most revered directors of Tamil film industry like Gautham Menon, Karthik Subbaraj and more. In the latest, makers have unveiled first looks of three of the actors from the series. Suriya, Vijay Sethupathi and Siddharth’s first looks have been unveiled from the movie. Navarasa will be released in August. Siddharth is making his Telugu comeback after a long gap with the movie Maha Samudram alongside Sharwanand, Anu Emmanuel and Aditi Rao Hydari. Vijay Sethupathi is currently filming for the movie Kaathu Vaakula Rendu Kaadhal opposite Samantha Akkineni and Nayanthara. Suriya is busy shooting for his movie Suriya 40 with the director Pandiraj.
