Filmmaker S S Rajamouli Is Appointed As ISBC Chairman

SS Rajamouli has a distinct mark in the Indian film industry, and his films are loved and appreciated by audiences all over the world. Even before Baahubali‘s fame, Rajamouli made some classic movies that will stay in the hearts of Telugu audiences for a long time. The plots in his films are very close to the culture, and this makes his films rooted and loved by everyone. Rajamouli has made Indian cinema proud on global grounds with RRR. Along with being a director, SS Rajamouli has a grip on the technical aspects, making him a master of filmmaking.

Now, this world-class filmmaker is going to play another role. SS Rajamouli is honored with another remarkable post; he is appointed as the Hon. Chairman of the Indian Schools Board for Cricket (ISBC). This is the organization that was established to encourage schoolchildren from rural areas in the field of cricket. Also, Rajamouli’s son, Karthikeya, is appointed as the joint secretary of the ISBC.

During the press conference about the announcement, Rajamouli interacted with the media, saying that he is a big fan of MS Dhoni. Dhoni came from an underdeveloped town and has grown as a cricketer, winning two world cups for India. Rajamouli stated that there are many more such Dhoni’s in rural parts of India. The idea of ISBC is to find those gems and give them a platform to shine for the country.

On the other hand, SS Rajamouli is working on the script for his upcoming film with Superstar Mahesh Babu, SSMB29. This is going to be an adventure thriller like Indiana Jones.
