In Ghaati and Mysaa, two of the most popular female superstars of our cinema will be seen in intense, raw, and fierce roles. The posters of the two movies present their female protagonists as violent.
Anushka Shetty’s Ghaati poster often shows her in a rugged rural setting, sometimes with blood, wielding a sickle or cigar. Rashmika Mandanna’s Mysaa poster features her with a blood-smeared face, wild hair, and holding a weapon.
There is another similarity between the two. In both films, the heroines appear to be playing women from the tribal background.
Ghaati is directed by Krish Jagarlamudi. The film is slated to hit the screens on July 11th. Produced by UV Creations and First Frame Entertainment, Ghaati has Vikram Prabhu in a prominent role. The pan-Indian film will be released in Telugu, Tamil, Hindi, Kannada and Malayalam. Sailore, a song from the movie, was released recently.
Directed by debutant Rawindra Pulle, Mysaa is yet to lock its release date. Mysaa is bankrolled by Ajay and Anil Sayyapureddy on Unformula Films.
