The Prasanth Varma Cinematic Universe has a new edition. Mahakali is its title. Created by Prasanth Varma, the film is produced by Riwaz Ramesh Duggal.
The news is that Mahakali went on the floors on Monday. “It begins… Not with a whisper, but a storm of fury. MAHAKALI’s shoot commenced today with a Pooja Ceremony. Get ready to witness the force of the 𝐌𝐎𝐒𝐓 𝐅𝐄𝐑𝐎𝐂𝐈𝐎𝐔𝐒 𝐒𝐔𝐏𝐄𝐑𝐇𝐄𝐑𝐎 𝐈𝐍 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐔𝐍𝐈𝐕𝐄𝐑𝐒𝐄 (sic),” PVCU’s official handles mentioned. “The first clap echoes” is what the makers wrote, making the commencement of the production journey official.

To be directed by Puja Aparna Kolluru, the film blends spiritual and mythical elements with contemporary issues. “This marks the first female superhero film coming from India, and is also the most ferocious superhero in the universe,” the makers added in a statement last year.
The film is touted to be an “epic journey of empowerment, faith, and resilience.” Smaran Sai scores the music, while Sri Nagendra Tangala is the production designer. To be also made in IMAX 3D, the film will be released in Indian and foreign languages.
