‘Pushpa 2: The Rule’ is going to take the box office by storm this week. The mania is gripping the nation, with tickets selling out rapidly.
The ticket prices approved in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana are the highest ever for a Telugu film. Yet, the collections are on the surge. The Allu Arjun-starrer has sold more than 13 lakh tickets so far on Book My Show alone. The film also holds the record for being the fastest one to hit the one million mark on BMS. The crazy sequel sold 1,52,500 tickets in PVRInox and Cinepolis as on Monday night.
The day one advance in Hindi alone is so encouraging that the film’s India-wide Nett for the Hindi version will be explosive. In Kerala, more than 500 screens have been allocated for the movie.
The film’s North America premieres are witnessing mind-blowing bookings. As per the local distributor there, extra shows are being added. “Total North America Premiere Advance Sales are at $2.32M. Another excellent jump. Many extra shows are projected to be added tomorrow which should lead to one last big jump,” the distribution company wrote.
The Sukumar-directed extravaganza is all set to “create history in Gujarat on its opening day”. Here is a representative figure: A chain named the Rajhans has sold nearly 27K tickets by the end of December 2nd. ‘Pushpa 2’ will trump ‘KGF 2’ and ‘Gadar 2’ soon.
