Evaru Makes It To Top 10

The Adivi Sesh starrer Evaru, the remake of the Spanish hit The Invisible Guest, opened to a great weekend and is running successfully across theatres.  The Venkat Ramji directorial now is an official blockbuster of sorts.

Yes, the movie is now an all India multiplex hit, with its place being etched in the top 10 multiplex hits in India, across languages.  Trade analyst Sridhar Pillai took to his Twitter handle to declare this feat of Evaru.

Evaru stands fourth in the list, with the Akshay Kumar scientific drama Mission Mangal topping the chart.  Next to it, the John Abraham starrer Batla House stood second.  The third place was garnered by the Leonardo Dicaprio and Brad Pitt drama Once Upon A Time In Hollywood.

Another Telugu film, Ranarangam, starring Sharwanand in a gangster’s role, stood at the eighth position.

So, Telugu cinema is going places with its taut screenplays and great performances.
