Malayalam superstar Mohanlal’s Drishyam 3 was announced in February. The news is that the thriller will commence its production journey in the month of October. Mollywood director Jeethu Joseph is working on the pre-production for the third edition of Drishyam.
The makers have been highlighting “The Past Never Stays Silent” theme right from the start. Meena, Ansiba Hassan, Esther Anil, Asha Sharath, Siddique, Kalabhavan Shajohn, Roshan Basheer and Neeraj Madhav starred in the Drishyam movies. The star case of Drishyam 3 will be made official soon.

Mohanlal last year made a debut as a director with Barroz 3D. This year, he has scored two big hits. L2: Empuraan became a blockbuster in Malayalam. Thudarum was another blockbuster. Both films, by minting hundreds of crores, have cemented the stature of Malayalam cinema.
On his activism front, Mohanlal’s ViswaSanthi Foundation proudly initiated the first ground activity of a year-long anti-drug campaign titled #BeAHero, which the actor described as a “call to youth to rise above addiction, to choose life, purpose, and wellness over drugs”.
