Salaar: CeaseFire has joined the re-release bandwagon this season. The mass action drama is gearing up for a grand return. More than a year after it was released in December 2023, the blockbuster starring Prabhas is slated for a re-release on March 21st.
Produced by Hombale Films and directed by Prashanth Neel, Salaar’s re-release will reignite the explosive energy of Khansaar once again.

Co-starring Prithviraj Sukumaran, Bobby Simha, Sriya Reddy, Tinnu Anand, Jagapathi Babu, Easwari Rao, and others, the film’s music is composed by Ravi Basrur. Based on Neel’s own Ugramm (Kannada), the film has dialogues written by Sandeep Reddy Bandla, Hanumaan Choudary, and Dr. Suri. Bhuvan Gowda and Ujwal Kulkarni are its cinematographer and editor, respectively.
The film will have a sequel. Salaar 2 will commence its shoot in 2026. Director Prashanth Neel is going to complete Jr NTR’s film first. Tarak’s film went on the floors last week. It is being shot currently at Ramoji Film City with 3000 extras participating in the first schedule.
Prabhas awaits the release of The Raja Saab this year.
