Starring Priyadarshi and Nabha Natesh as the lead pair, the movie Darling, helmed by Aswin Raam, hit the screens today.
Darling, which is produced by Niranjan and Chaitanya Reddy, also features Ananya Nagalla, Brahmanandham, Moin, Shiva Reddy, Muralidhar Goud, Kalynee Raj, Sunitha Manohar, Mullapudi Rajeshwari, Abhignya, Jeevan, Krishna Teja, Vishnu, Sanjay Swarup, Raghu Babu, Priyanka, Swapnika, Sivaranjani, and others
It’s made under Prime Show Entertainment’s banner, with music composed by well-known musician Vivek Sagar. The DOP is Naresh Ramadurai, while the editor is Pradeep E. Ragav.
Darling Movie Storyline:
Priyadarshi portrays the part of Raghav, a travel agent. Like any other man, Raghav aspires to marry a woman who shares his interests, and he has always wanted to travel to Paris with his partner.
In the turn of events, Raghav’s attempts to fulfill his desires, make him desperate. He attempts suicide, but Aanandi (Nabha Natesh) saves him. What happens next and how Aanandi’s introduction in Raghav’s life changes his fate is the rest of the story.
On-screen Performances:
Actor Priyadarshi, who has always delved into distinctive roles, does his usual job, that is to entertain. He leaves a great impact in the segments where he has to portray distress. Of course, his comedy timing and other quirks are an added advantage.
Nabha Natesh has a very important role in ‘Darling.’ The character demands a lot from her, especially in the second half, where she needs to behave eccentrically. In these parts, she has shown great performance.
The hero’s buddies, D. Krishna Teja and Vishnu, give decent performances. The role of Doctor Nandini, played by actress Ananya Nagalla, is appropriately justified.
Brahmanandam, Balagam Venu, Raghu Babu, Muralidhar Goud, and others have all done a good job of justifying their responsibilities.
Technical Aspects:
The simple narrative by director Aswin Raam tackles an emotive matter with a lot of room for humor. It looks like he did a good job balancing the rope.
Dialogue scripting by Sai Hemanth has a powerful effect. Vivek Sagar provides a decent background score with catchy melodies in several instances.
The editing by Pradeep E. Raghav and the visuals by Naresh Ramadurai are good.
Good production values are used by Primeshow Entertainment.
End-note: All things considered, Darling belongs to the class of films that have a lot of potential to portray an intriguing concept. The film is engaging, with good performers and entertaining elements.
