Mass explosion was promised. And mass explosion is what they have delivered. The title teaser of Nandamuri Balakrishna’s 109th movie serves more than one purpose. It hints at the kind of larger-than-life characterization, it shows that we are in for a new world-building endeavour, and it tries to build a fable-like aura around Balayya’s character.
Hyping up ensues before introducing the hero as Daaku Maharaaj. “This is not a story about Gods who spread light. It’s not about demons who rule darkness. It’s not about Ravana who commands demons. This is the story of a king who fought without a kingdom,” the narrator says, introducing the titular character as a Yama, the Lord of Death.

SS Thaman’s background score is exciting. Director Bobby Kolli’s staging looks mass audience-friendly. Bobby Deol’s antagonist is in for a dangerous rollercoaster.
The film is going to be a January 12th, 2025 release.
Vijay Karthik is in charge of the cinematography department. Jersey actress Shraddha Srinath, Akhanda fame Pragya Jaiswal, and Colour Photo fame Chandini Chowdary are playing important roles in this K Chakravarthy Reddy-written screenplay. The stunts have been composed by V Venkat.
