Ram Jagadeesh’s ‘Court’, starring Priyadarshi, Harsh Roshan, and Sridevi, has delivered a phenomenal opening. Combined with paid premiere and day one collections, the courtroom drama achieved a worldwide gross of Rs 8.1 crore, an exceptional feat for a movie of its scale.
The film, produced by Nani’s Wallposter Cinemas, sold over 121,000 tickets on BookMyShow in its first 24 hours. In the US, at the time of writing, the movie surpassed $300K and is projected to exceed $500K by the end of its opening weekend.

Sivaji’s performance in the movie has been described as a comeback effort. Sai Kumar, Rohini, Subhalekha Sudhakar, Surabhi Prabhavathi, and Rajasekhar Aningi have played different roles.
Speaking to the media on Friday, Nani said that he and the entire team are speechless. “Starting with Wednesday’s premiere show and Thursday’s paid premieres, it has been a celebration for us. Whistles and claps are being heard across screens. I feel this is the strength of Telugu cinema. A good film redefines the boundaries of commerciality. Court is one such film,” Nani said.
Later on Saturday, Team Court will host a success event at a star hotel in Hyderabad.
