Sarileru Neekevvaru is Lady Superstar Vijayashanthi’s comeback film. She will make a screen appearance in the Telugu film industry after 13 years. The National Award winning actress is now being invited with open hands by many producers, to act in their movies.
On the occasion of the pre release event of Sarileru Neekevvaru, Megastar Chiranjeevi, who was the chief guest, got emotional about his association with Vijayashanthi and relived the golden hits they gave over two decades. Chiranjeevi remarked he loved the company of Vijayashanthi a lot and he felt politics separated them from interacting with each other. He chided Vijayashanthi for not being on talking terms for more than 20 years. Vijayashanthi replied politics is different from films and she always had respect for Chiranjeevi as her co star, with whom she worked on 22 films.
Chiranjeevi thanked Mahesh Babu profusely for reuniting him with his favourite co star after years.
Vijayashanthi remarked she would like to do another film with Chiranjeevi in current times.
