In a gesture of appreciation for the blockbuster Waltair Veerayya, Megastar Chiranjeevi has gifted director Bobby a Omega Seamaster watch. Taking to social media, Bobby wrote, “A beautiful MEGA surprise from the Boss himself. Your love, encouragement, and blessings mean the world to me annaya. I will cherish this moment forever.”
Waltair Veerayya was released for Sankranthi 2023. The film brought vintage Chiranjeevi back to the Telugu audience. Director Bobby Kolli deserved all the appreciation for the film’s success. His idea of projecting Chiranjeevi’s mass side on the big screen again after a long time worked very well, and Ravi Teja’s presence in the film was another blockbuster element. The idea of brotherhood between Chiranjeevi and Ravi Teja also paid off greatly. The film had already collected more than 200 crores in just 10 days.

Bobby’s most recent directorial venture is Daaku Maharaaj, which hit the screens for Sankranthi. Starring Balakrishna in the lead, it had Bobby Deol as the antagonist.
Chiranjeevi is currently doing Vishwambhara, which made its Cannes debut the other day. This one is touted to be India’s biggest socio-fantasy adventure. Co-starring Trisha Krishnan and others, the film’s release date will be announced soon.
